Job Description
- Handle a broad range of general legal operations and litigation matters
- Provide day-to-day legal advice and support for cross-functional departments, including support associated with operational, business commercial, and legal cases.
- Supporting the Company's Credit Committee functions by doing complete legal analysis and escalating the existence of legal risks that might occur
- Supporting the Company's Collection Department functions i.e. assisting provide legal advice and legal documentation on certain conditions
- Prepare documentation, reports, and evidence to be presented in legal proceedings
- Compile and store agreement documents in a complete and detailed manneger with good governance principles
- Assisting litigation matters together with external counsel to ensure comprehensive case preparation
- Any other legal ad-hoc duties that may be required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as in-house legal counsel or in reputable law firms
- Solid knowledge of all relevant laws and regulations, including those governing fintech company
- Solid knowledge and experience in legal cases (civil, criminal, and commercial law)
- Strong understanding of civil and criminal procedural law, as well as business and commercial law
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal include the ability to present findings clearly and concisely
- Demonstrate a strong analytical skills with the ability to identify sensitive legal and business risks and/or issues, including to the sense of urgency and working with related functions internally and externally, proactive provide solutions and interpet complex data.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and reviewing various legal documents, able to prioritize effectively and work under pressure without comprimising on quality.
- Solid understanding of the commercial legal aspect and able to convert legal knowledge into commercial solution.
- Proactive mindset, expectional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details. Possess ability to adapt and have strong willingness to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to work independently as an individual and also collaboratively to work as a team.
