In line with our rapid business growth and continuous service expansion, we are seeking a proactive and strategic Legal Manager to join our team.
We are not just looking for a legal expert; we are seeking a strategic partner. As a Legal Manager at Bumame, you will play a pivotal role in navigating the complex legal landscape of the healthcare industry. This position transcends administrative tasks like reviewing standard agreements; you will spearhead industrial relations, act as a key commercial advisor, and be the company's first line of defense in legal risk mitigation.
You will report directly to the Board of Director and serve as a trusted advisor across all business lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Legal Counsel: Provide sound, practical, and business-oriented legal advice to management and stakeholders on operations, business development, and corporate strategy.
- Commercial & Corporate Law: Lead the drafting, negotiation, and finalization of various complex commercial agreements, including strategic partnerships, major vendor contracts, and other critical business arrangements.
- Employment & Industrial Relations: Manage all legal aspects of employment, from drafting and reviewing employment contracts and company regulations to proactively and effectively handling industrial relations disputes.
- Litigation Management: Manage and oversee all potential disputes and litigation processes (if any), including coordinating with external legal counsel to ensure the company's interests are fully protected.
- Compliance & Regulatory Affairs: Ensure the company's compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, particularly those related to the healthcare industry, data privacy, and labor law.
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Laws (S.H.) from a reputable university.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of work experience as an in-house counsel or as a lawyer in a law firm, with a proven track record in handling commercial and employment law matters.
- Must hold a valid advocate license (PERADI).
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian Corporate Law, Commercial Law, and Labor Law. Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is a significant plus.
- Proven experience in handling industrial relations disputes and litigation.
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with fluency in both Indonesian and English.
- A proactive, strategic thinker with a solution-oriented mindset, capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
