Job Description
- Lead and ensure the company complies with all applicable laws and regulations, especially those related to fintech, lending, and data privacy.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including loan agreements, vendor contracts, and corporate policies.
- Advise internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory matters, providing practical and business-oriented solutions.
- Liaise with regulators and external legal counsel as needed.
- Manage legal risk by designing and implementing policies and controls.
- Support dispute resolution and litigation processes if necessary.
- Keep up to date with changes in relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Law or Master’s degree or legal professional qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a legal role, preferably with experience in financial services, fintech, or banking.
- In-depth knowledge of fintech regulations, including OJK (for Indonesia) or relevant financial authority regulations.
- Experience in contract negotiation and legal document drafting.
- Strong understanding of consumer protection laws, data privacy regulations, and AML/KYC compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Good communication in English both written and oral.
- Willing to relocate in BSD, Tangerang.
