Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Lead AI Engineer to lead the design and development of enterprise-level AI solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background, hands-on AI experience, and experience building technology solutions in complex enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of AI/ML and Generative AI solutions.
- Design scalable and reliable AI solutions for enterprise use cases.
- Provide technical direction and guidance to AI/engineering teams.
- Work closely with Product, Data, Engineering, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Integrate AI solutions with existing enterprise applications, APIs, and data platforms.
- Ensure good engineering practices, including code quality, testing, monitoring, security, and documentation.
- Evaluate AI technologies, models, frameworks, and tools based on business and technical requirements.
- Mentor engineers and support technical capability development within the team.
Requirements
- Around 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, AI/ML Engineering, or related technical roles.
- Strong software engineering foundation with hands-on experience building production-level systems.
- Strong experience in AI/ML, preferably including Generative AI, LLM, and RAG.
- Experience designing or building enterprise-level solutions in complex environments.
- Experience can come from either a technology consulting/system integrator background or an internal engineering/product team within an enterprise.
- Good understanding of system architecture, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and AI integration.
- Experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries is a plus.
