About the Role
We are looking for a Native English Speaker or C2-level English professional to join our team as an English Content QC. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all English content, especially video captions and on-screen text is flawless, engaging, and aligned with native-level communication standards.You will also play a key role in shaping high-impact personal brand content for global clients, ensuring every piece of content meets the highest level of clarity, accuracy, and storytelling quality.At Ku Creatives Unlimited, you will work on content for internationally recognized figures such as Bear Grylls, Frank Ponce (producer of MrBeast), Tai Lopez, and other global entrepreneurs, creators, and industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, proofread, and refine English captions and on-screen text to ensure native-level fluency and accuracy.
- Identify and extract high-potential viral moments from long-form videos, helping editors determine which parts should be turned into short-form content.
- Collaborate with editors as a clipper, structuring and refining cuts to create engaging, high-retention video clips for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, tone, and syntax errors with precision.
- Ensure captions align perfectly with audio, visuals, and overall context.
- Adapt language to sound natural, engaging, and culturally relevant for a global audience.
- Provide clear, actionable feedback to improve content quality.
- Handle and optimize content for personal branding across social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Ensure all content adheres to brand voice, storytelling standards, and audience expectations.
Requirements

- Native English Speaker OR CEFR C2 proficiency level (mandatory).
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Translation, or a related field.
- Proven experience in editing, proofreading, or content quality control.
- Strong understanding of tone, nuance, and natural English phrasing.
- Familiar with the updated trend in social media.
- Experience with transcription and aligning audio to text.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to catch subtle language errors.
- Familiarity with video editing workflows and tools (e.g., CapCut)
- Experience managing or engaging on social media platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in personal branding or creator content is a strong advantage.
- Open to international candidates / foreign nationals.
- Willing to work in Jakarta time
