Job Description

Job Description (Core Outcomes)

Implement LLM-powered features under existing patterns: prompt workflows → backend integration → release.
Support RAG/retrieval components (embeddings, retrieval, citations) using the team’s current approach.
Improve output quality: formatting, factual consistency, edge-case handling, and prompt iteration.
Add basic evaluation (test cases, small regression checks) for prompt/RAG changes.
Implement logging for errors, latency, and token usage with guidance.
Collaborate with Product/Design to refine AI UX and reduce user confusion.

Requirements

Requirements (Must Have)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
0-2 years of experience as AI Engineer (Fresh grad with strong portfolio will be considered).
Strong backend fundamentals (Node.js/TypeScript or Python) and understanding of API design.
Has built at least one serious LLM project (portfolio/prototype/shipped feature) using OpenAI/Claude/Gemini.
Basic understanding of: tokens/cost, embeddings, retrieval, hallucination risks, and why evaluation matters.
Familiar with databases & simple pipelines (Postgres/MySQL, queue, cache is a plus).
Engineering hygiene: debugging, testing basics, logging basics, documentation habits.

Plus Points (Nice to Have)

Experience with LangChain/LlamaIndex (or any orchestration framework).
Familiarity with vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate).
Experience with audio basics (STT/TTS) is a plus.
Familiarity with observability tools (Sentry, basic metrics, dashboards).
