Job Description
- Assist in performing technology risk assessments, control testing, and documentation under senior guidance.
- Help identify IT and cybersecurity risks in client environments, using standard checklists or frameworks.
- Support reviewing IT general controls (e.g., access management, backup, change management) and basic application controls.
- Contribute to documenting findings and control gaps, and support the preparation of risk assessment reports.
- Participate in client interviews and evidence-gathering processes.
- Maintain clear records of risk assessments, issues, and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 0-1 year of experience in IT risk, IT audit, or cybersecurity (internship experience is welcome).
- Basic understanding of IT risk management principles and control frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST CSF).
- Awareness of IT system components (servers, networks, applications, cloud).
- Basic familiarity with risk assessment templates and documentation tools (e.g., Excel, Confluence).
- Willingness to learn and apply security control testing techniques.
- Detail-oriented, eager to learn, and proactive in supporting project tasks.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Able to work collaboratively within a team.
