Job Description
Job Summary:
Provide first-level technical support and proactive monitoring of IT infrastructure using BMC TrueSight. Ensure high system availability and performance by managing incidents efficiently, conducting advanced initial analysis, and coordinating timely escalation when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage IT infrastructure, systems, and applications using BMC TrueSight.
- Handle alerts, incidents, and service requests with a high level of accuracy and responsiveness.
- Perform thorough initial diagnosis and troubleshooting to identify root causes.
- Ensure timely escalation of complex issues to Level 2 or relevant teams with complete analysis.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation within ticketing systems.
- Adhere to and drive compliance with SLA, operational standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure efficient incident resolution and service continuity.
- Conduct regular system health checks, trend analysis, and preventive monitoring activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in IT Support, System Monitoring, or NOC environment.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools, preferably BMC TrueSight.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Solid experience in IT operations and monitoring environments.
- Good understanding of ITIL framework (Incident, Problem, and Change Management).
- Exposure to scripting, automation, or log analysis is an advantage.
- Proven ability to deliver operational excellence and continuous service improvement.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly in English.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and shift-based environment.
- Willing to be dedicated onsite in our client office near Thamrin, Central Jakarta (Contract 1 year, possible extension).
