Job Description
The IT Hardware Manager will oversee all aspects of the organization’s hardware infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of IT equipment across all sites. This role will manage the hardware lifecycle — from procurement and installation to maintenance and asset disposal — while leading a team of IT technicians to support day-to-day operational needs.
- Manage the planning, procurement, installation, and maintenance of all IT hardware (servers, PCs, laptops, network devices, printers, etc.).
- Oversee IT asset management, including hardware inventory, warranty tracking, and lifecycle replacement.
- Lead and supervise IT support teams to ensure efficient troubleshooting and hardware support.
- Collaborate with software, network, and cybersecurity teams to ensure system compatibility and performance.
- Develop and enforce IT hardware policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ensure compliance with company IT security policies and relevant data protection standards.
- Plan and manage the hardware budget and annual replacement roadmap.
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives related to hardware infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in IT hardware management or IT infrastructure roles.
- Proven experience in managing IT teams and hardware assets across multiple sites.
- Strong knowledge of server architecture, storage systems, networking hardware, and endpoint devices.
- Familiarity with IT asset management tools and procurement processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills.
- Vendor management and negotiation experience preferred.
