Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and connected devices.
Integrate hardware components, sensors, and microcontrollers with software applications.
Develop firmware and software for IoT devices using appropriate programming languages.
Configure and manage communication protocols such as MQTT, HTTP, TCP/IP, BLE, or LoRaWAN.
Monitor device performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform system optimization.
Collaborate with software engineers, hardware engineers, and product teams to deliver IoT solutions.
Implement data collection, processing, and cloud integration for IoT devices.
Ensure device security, reliability, and scalability throughout the development lifecycle.
Conduct testing, debugging, and validation of IoT systems before deployment.
Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and system architecture documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience in IoT development, embedded systems, or firmware programming.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or Java. Familiarity with microcontrollers and development boards (e.g., Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, or STM32).
Knowledge of IoT communication protocols such as MQTT, HTTP, CoAP, BLE, Zigbee, or LoRaWAN.
Understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP, and wireless communication.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or Google Cloud IoT is a plus.
Familiarity with Linux environments, Git version control, and debugging tools.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
