As an Inventory & Asset Management Senior Staff, You Will:
- Maintain accurate inventory and fixed asset records in the accounting/ERP system.
- Perform inventory and fixed asset reconciliations with the General Ledger on a regular basis.
- Monitor inventory movements and investigate discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Coordinate periodic stock counts (stock opname) and fixed asset verification with relevant departments.
- Maintain the fixed asset register, including acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation.
- Record inventory and asset transactions accurately and in a timely manner. Prepare inventory and fixed asset reports for month-end and year-end closing.
- Ensure proper documentation and approval for inventory and asset transactions.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and analysis.
- Monitor inventory valuation and fixed asset depreciation in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance inventory and asset control.
- Collaborate with Warehouse, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate inventory and asset management.
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies and financial regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Inventory Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, or General Accounting.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, fixed asset accounting, and accounting principles.
- Experience using ERP systems (Odoo, or similar).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and teamwork skills.
