Job Description
- Understands key processes and relevant basic effective controls or mitigation options to address risks covered in the audit programs
- Evaluates and highlights deviations from standard policies and procedures noted during the audits on a timely basis
- Ensures effective time management to complete the audit fieldworks within the time allocated
- Performs audit fieldwork objectively and test the internal controls are operating through appropriate testing and interview techniques and document the results in accordance with the AINIA Manual
- Active involvement in preparation of audit work program for each audit for the purpose of developing efficient and effective assurance activities
- Executes audits (both store and non-store) to provide independent and objective assurance in a competent and professional manner to ensure continuing development of effective professional relationship with auditees, as well as to promote effective audit coverage
- Provides counsel, coordination, and supervision during the fieldwork to ensure audits are carried out as planned and provide continuous update to Internal Audit Manager / Asst. Manager
- Drafts findings and proposes recommendations dealing with root cause of issues and impact to the organization noted during audit fieldwork.
- Maintains working papers to ensure proper audit documentation in accordance with the AINIA Manual
- Periodic reviews of the store audit program and recommend for enhancement to the standard audit program
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or other closely related major.
- Minimum 3 years experience in internal/external audit, preferably in retail industry with exposure to multi-formatted stores.
- Possess strong work ethic with a commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic environment that strive to exceed expectations.
- Possess the drive to gain quickly good knowledge and understanding of the policies and procedures of the Company '
- Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills (written and verbal)
- Good analytical skills, and ability to work independently.
- A good team player and eager to share knowledge and continue learning.
- Meticulous and excellent in audit documentation
- Excellent computer skill including excel, word and PowerPoint and experience in ACL, IDEA, basic programming language, IT infra structure & security, SAP, WMS and POS are preferred.
- Able to write and speak in English
- Approximately 80% travel requirement within the country
