Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Generalist to oversee all HR functions for approximately 70-100 employees across four branches and one private kitchen. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in attracting, retaining, and motivating talent while ensuring compliance with labor laws and creating a positive workplace culture. This is a hands-on role requiring mobility across locations and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage approximately 80-100 employees across 4 branches, with an additional branch in a private kitchen, requiring mobility between locations to monitor staff.
- Provide structured reports on all HR activities to ensure alignment with organizational goals and support decision-making processes.
- Focus on end-to-end recruitment while independently managing all other HR functions.
- Attract and retain top talent by implementing effective recruitment strategies, building a strong employer brand, and providing opportunities for growth and development.
- Develop and implement performance management systems, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and employee development plans.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
- Ensure that all employee data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Perform the recapitulation of attendance data manually from the fingerprint machine for accurate payroll report.
- Coordinate and conduct training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, while ensuring compliance with mandatory training requirements.
- Stay current on HR and employment law trends, ensuring the company’s policies and practices are aligned with evolving regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational development initiatives, manage change effectively, and implement talent management strategies.
- Prepare HR-related reports and metrics to provide valuable insights for management review and informed decision-making.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Management (with a focus on Human Resources), Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the same position, especially those with experience in the F&B and/or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and relevant regulations is essential.
- A comprehensive understanding of all HR functions, including end-to-end recruitment, employee relations, performance management, up to compensation and benefits.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with various job platforms and an understanding of the characteristics of candidates from each platform to ensure the selection of the right candidates for specific roles.
- Ability to work independently to manage all HR functions, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions and assessments.
- Capable of enhancing employee motivation at all levels, from managerial to junior staff.
- Proactive, efficient, and detail-oriented, requiring excellent time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion while maintaining a high level of integrity.
- Flexible and adaptable to changes in work priorities, while ensuring effective execution based on the level of priority.
- Strong negotiation skills for handling compensation discussions, conflict resolution, and employee relations matters.
