Job Description
- Address employee concerns, grievances, and disputes promptly.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, employment standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain statutory records (wages, attendance, leave, contracts)
- Handle inspections and audits from labor authorities
- Act as the primary liaison between management and unions
- Participate in collective bargaining negotiations.
- Manage union agreements, contracts, and implementation of settlements.
- Implement disciplinary procedures fairly and consistently
- Coordinate with legal advisors for disputes, court cases, and notices.
- Represent the organization in labor court or dispute resolution forums.
- Maintain accurate records of negotiations, disciplinary actions, and meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Law, or related field.
- Experience working in manufacturing, plant, or factory environments.
- Prior exposure to union handling, disciplinary actions, and IR compliance.
- Hands-on experience with statutory audits and government inspections.
- Strong understanding of Labour Laws, Union relations and collective bargaining
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving & decision-making skills
- Ability to liaise with labor authorities, unions, and legal teams
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
