Job Description
- Set Strategy: Define and implement the organization’s project management strategy, frameworks, and best practices.
- Lead Teams: Manage, mentor, and monitor the performance of Project Managers and Analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Oversee Projects: Ensure successful delivery of all projects by managing scope, timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Stakeholder and Shareholder Alignment: Act as the primary point of contact between project teams, senior leadership, partners and external parties to align on goals and expectations.
- Prioritize Initiatives: Develop project roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and allocate resources to maximize efficiency and impact.
- Monitor Performance: Track project OKRs, prepare regular reports, and ensure continuous improvement through data-driven insights.
- Mitigate Risks: Identify potential project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Optimize Processes: Streamline workflows and implement tools/technologies to improve project management efficiency and reporting.
- Build Capacity: Conduct performance reviews, create professional development plans, and support skill-building across the team.
- Drive Results: Align all project management efforts with business objectives to ensure measurable outcomes and long-term success.
Requirements
- 8+ years in project or program management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record delivering complex, cross-functional projects on time and within budget
- Strong command of PM methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid) and tools such as Jira, Asana, or Notion
- Experienced in building PMO frameworks, governance structures, and data-driven reporting
- Able to lead, coach, and develop a team including performance reviews and development plans
- Skilled at translating business goals into actionable roadmaps and managing resources effectively
- Strong communicator with experience aligning senior leadership, partners, and external stakeholders
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is a plus
