Job Description
We’re looking for a highly skilled and independent Creative Designer and Graphic Designer to join our team and take full ownership of end-to-end design projects—from initial concept through to flawless execution. This is not a learning role; we’re seeking someone confident, fast, and experienced enough to consistently deliver high-quality, on-brand work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Designer
- Lead and execute design projects across branding, campaigns, packaging, and social media—delivering end-to-end creative solutions that align with the brand’s vision.
- Translate strategic concepts into premium, visually compelling assets, ensuring all outputs meet high aesthetic and professional standards.
- Collaborate directly with the founder and leadership on creative direction, then execute independently with minimal supervision.
- Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to junior designers, helping raise the overall design quality within the team.
- Ensure brand consistency across all channels, from digital platforms to physical packaging.
- Stay ahead of design trends, particularly within the lifestyle, wellness, beauty, and fashion industries, to keep work fresh and relevant.
- Utilize tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, SketchUp, ChatGPT, and other AI tools to enhance creative workflow.
- Balance creative innovation with brand alignment, delivering polished work quickly and efficiently.
- Support the evolution of the brand’s visual identity across all projects and platforms.
Graphic Designer
- Design and adapt social media visuals, including static posts, illustrations, icons, and occasional animations or GIFs, in line with the brand’s tone and goals.
- Collaborate with the team to translate concepts and campaign ideas into engaging visuals, maintaining clear communication throughout the design process.
- Create visuals that reflect a luxury-inspired aesthetic, especially suited for skincare, beauty, fashion, or wellness-related brands.
- Work with a mix of creative freedom and structured briefs, adapting easily to both independent work and guided direction.
- Ensure all designs are on-brand, polished, and optimized for digital platforms.
- Use industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, or Affinity (not Canva-only).
- Stay current on social design trends to keep content fresh, creative, and competitive.
- Optionally use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, image generators) to create supporting visuals like backgrounds, textures, or visual elements that enhance output quality and speed.
Requirements
Experience & Background
- Minimum 3 to 5+ years of professional design experience, either in an agency or in-house setting.
- A strong portfolio showcasing work across branding, packaging, digital content, and social media.
- Experience in premium or luxury sectors (e.g., skincare, fashion, beauty, wellness) is highly desirable.
Design Skills
- Able to conceptualize and execute designs for branding, campaigns, packaging, and especially social media.
- Comfortable creating and adapting visual assets including illustrations, icons, GIFs, and occasional animations.
- Strong sense of aesthetic, with an eye for refined, elevated visuals.
Software & Tools
- Advanced proficiency in:
- Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop (essential)
- Canva (for streamlined, on-brand content)
- SketchUp (for 3D mockups, spatial visuals)
- ChatGPT or similar tools for ideation, copy refinement, and creative workflows
- Familiarity with InDesign, Figma, or Affinity tools is a plus.
- Bonus: Experience with CapCut or other video/motion tools.
Collaboration & Communication
- Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken); Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a strong advantage.
- Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams, take direction, and translate concepts into clear, engaging visuals.
- Experience working with both open-ended creative freedom and structured brand briefs.
Mindset & Work Ethic
- Highly self-driven, detail-oriented, and organized.
- Strong ability to work quickly, implement feedback efficiently, and deliver polished results with minimal revisions.
- A leadership mindset—capable of mentoring and guiding junior designers.
- Comfortable using AI tools to enhance workflows and generate visual assets (textures, models, backgrounds, etc.).
