We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented GIS Support Specialist with expertise in data analysis using Excel and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for our Cemetery SaaS software. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing support to our cemetery clients, ensuring the accuracy and functionality of our GIS-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ticket-Driven Support: Respond to and manage support tickets from cemetery clients, addressing errors, issues, and client-specific requests related to our GIS solutions
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze, manipulate, and visualize spatial and non-spatial data to resolve issues and fulfill client needs. Generate reports and dashboards as required
- GIS Expertise: Apply your GIS skills to diagnose and correct GIS-related problems and implement client-requested GIS changes. Ensure the functionality and accuracy of the GIS systems
- Client Communication: Maintain regular and clear communication with clients to gather requirements, provide updates on issue resolution, and ensure client satisfaction
- Documentation: Create and maintain records of ticket resolution processes, solutions, and client-specific configurations to facilitate ongoing support
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Data Science, or a related field
- Proficiency in QGIS
- Strong, proven experience in data analysis using Excel with a focus on spatial and big data (portfolio required)
- Strong understanding of database management and data integration
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and client support skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
