Job Description
The GA Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency, cost optimization, and smooth business expansion. This position requires a proactive leader who can navigate complex challenges while driving continuous improvement across multiple functions.
Area of responsibility:
Strategic Leadership & Expansion Support
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the team's collaboration
- Lead and support the company's expansion efforts, including retail and supermarket operations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including vendors, government agencies, and mass organizations.
- Ensure cost-effectiveness and quality in all procurement and facility-related decisions.
- Drive innovation and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of procurement history to optimize purchasing strategies.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to secure the best price and quality.
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.
Asset & Facility Management
- Develop and implement policies for asset management, including asset classification, transfer, and disposal.
- Conduct periodic asset audits, stock opname, and ensure timely maintenance of all company assets.
- Oversee facility management, ensuring a safe, secure, and efficient workplace environment.
IT & Operational Support
- Supervise IT Support functions to ensure smooth operations and minimal disruptions in business processes.
- Oversee the maintenance and procurement of IT-related equipment and services.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and data security standards.
Financial & Reporting Responsibilities
- Manage budgeting and cost control within the GA, Procurement, IT, and Facility Management scope.
- Submit timely reports on procurement, asset management, and operational performance.
- Ensure all financial transactions related to procurement and operational expenses are accurately recorded.
Policy Development & Compliance
- Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to GA, Procurement, IT Support, and Facility Management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Continuously assess risks and implement measures to mitigate operational challenges.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Business Administration, Management, Law, or relevant discipline.
- Minimum 5 years experience in General Affairs, Procurement, or Facility Management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent vendor management and external stakeholder relationship-building capabilities.
- Experience in handling company expansion projects, especially in retail/supermarkets, is a plus.
- Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to lead a team.
