Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, well-documented, and maintainable backend APIs using Ruby on Rails
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code, adhering to best practices and coding standards
- Optimize API performance by analyzing queries, implementing caching strategies, and reducing response times
- Craft efficient database queries, including native queries, join queries, and handling multi-relationnship tables
- Collaborate with front-end developers to troubleshoot and resolve issue between APIs and the user interface
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in Ruby on Rails development
Requirements
- Proven experience building backend APIs with Ruby on Rails
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and design principles
- Experience with caching strategies and performance optimization techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proven experience working on accounting modules
Bonus Points
- Experience with AngularJS or other JavaScript frameworks (a plus)
- Experience with unit testing frameworks
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
