Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality and functionality of our web-based application and APIs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, experience with web application testing, and a sharp eye for identifying issues and recommending improvements.
- A minimum of 3 hours per day for sync-up with the Software Engineer team during working hours (9 AM - 6 PM).
- 6 months project's contract
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Conduct comprehensive testing on web applications and APIs, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues, collaborating closely with developers to resolve them.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Partner with the Software Engineering and Data team to enhance testing processes and overall application quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in QA testing for web applications.
- Proficiency in manual testing; familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail.
