Job Description
- Develop and Implement Fraud Detection Models;
- Monitor real-time and historical data to identify patterns and anomalies that indicate fraud;
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop and refine fraud rules and ensure effective implementation;
- Lead Fraud Investigations and Coordinate with fraud operations, legal, and compliance teams to investigate flagged cases and conduct thorough root cause analysis;
- Work closely with engineering teams to build dashboards for tracking fraud metrics and ensuring continuous monitoring;
- Partner with product, engineering, and compliance teams to align fraud detection strategies with business goals;
- Create weekly and monthly reports for upper management with actionable insights and recommendations;
- Stay up-to-date with fraud trends and industry best practices to recommend innovative fraud prevention strategies;
- Lead and develop a team of fraud analysts to ensure continuous learning and professional growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Business, Statistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus;
- 5+ years of experience in fraud analytics, financial services, payments, or fintech industries;
- Experience working with consumer and B2B financial transactions is highly preferred;
- Excellent communication skills to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Strong knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI);
- Familiarity with fraud monitoring tools and real-time alerting systems;
- Understanding of transaction flows and payment gateways is a plus;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
