Job Description
1. Financial Management:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.d. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
2. Accounting, Reporting and Taxation.
- Maintain and update the general ledger with accurate financial entries.
- Maintain proper documentation for financial transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory reports (e.g., PPN, PPh) in accordance with Indonesian tax regulations.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with PSAK and SAK.
- Help with the following accounting tasks for our Singaporean entity: (i) Prepare and reconcile bank statements. (ii) Maintain records of invoices and receipts. (iii) Maintain records for compliance with Singaporean accounting standards (FRS).
3. Payroll Processing: Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate payroll records submitted by vendors
4. Audit Support: Assist with external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
5. Communication: Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders (vendors, clients) to ensure smooth financial operations.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree (S1) or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field with at least 2 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in e-commerce.
2. Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Indonesia.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or accounting software.
4. Strong understanding of Indonesian tax regulations, including PPN (Value-Added Tax) and PPh (Income Tax).
5. Proficiency in Indonesian Accounting Standards (PSAK) and familiarity with Indonesian Financial Reporting Standards (SAK).
6. Experience with e-Tax filing systems like DJP Online and e-SPT.
7. Strong understanding of Indonesian banking and payment systems, including e-wallet platforms.
8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to details in all tasks.
10. Prior experience in bookkeeping for a Singapore-registered company is a plus.
