Job Description
- Develop and manage financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
- Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure financial goals are met.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses.
- Present financial information to executive leadership and other stakeholders.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage cash flow and liquidity, optimizing working capital and ensuring adequate funds for operational needs.
- Coordinate with tax professionals to ensure compliance with Government regulations.
- Implement tax-saving strategies and initiatives.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to support business decisions and long-term planning.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
- Assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate exposure.
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA or relevant professional certification preferred.
- Proven experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably in the retail industry.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Excellent knowledge of ERP systems and financial software.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
