Job Description

Role Overview

Brand Manager-Fashion Category will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of fashion product development, from conceptual design through production and launch. This role requires a combination of creative vision and strong business acumen to ensure that every collection is aligned with brand values, market trends, and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities

Process Management:

  • Lead and manage the entire product development cycle, from initial design to final production and launch.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including fashion designers, vendor, and marketing to ensure timely and successful product launches.
  • Oversee quality control to maintain high product standards.

Business Analysis & Cost Management:

  • Conduct market research to understand trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
  • Create detailed business analysis, including cost calculations, pricing strategies, and sales forecasting to ensure the profitability of each product line.
  • Optimize production costs and processes to achieve financial targets without compromising quality.

Production & Vendor Management:

  • Source and manage relationships with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Negotiate terms, agreements, and pricing with suppliers to maintain cost-effective operations.
  • Monitor production timelines to ensure products are launched on schedule.

Product Launch & Marketing:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop launch strategies and promotional campaigns.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus
  2. At least 3-5 years of experience in fashion management, with a strong track record in managing design, production, and product launches.
  3. Previous experience in a managerial role overseeing product lifecycle management within a fashion or retail brand.
  4. Proven ability to create business analyses, including cost calculations, profitability assessments, and sales forecasting.
  5. Strong project management skills with a focus on cost optimization and timeline management
  6. Deep understanding of fashion trends and an eye for creating products that resonate with the target audience.
  7. Innovative mindset with the ability to translate creative ideas into marketable products
