Job Description
Role Summary
You will support the CEO in drafting and managing high-stakes external communications with senior leaders, partners, and stakeholders. This role requires strong judgment, empathy, and the ability to navigate power dynamics — not sales, not marketing copywriting. You will be involved in WhatsApp, direct messages, and follow-ups that represent the CEO directly.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft external communications on behalf of the CEO (WhatsApp, DM, short email)
- Decide what to say vs what not to say based on context, timing, and relationship
- Propose follow-up scenarios (e.g. if A → respond B; if C → hold)
- Maintain consistent tone and positioning across senior stakeholders
- Support CEO in executive outreach, introductions, and light follow-ups
- Flag communication risks before messages are sent
Requirements
Must-have
- Experience in one of the following:
- CEO Office
- Corporate communications / public affairs
- Stakeholder management roles
- Demonstrated experience communicating with senior executives
- Strong written communication in Indonesian (English is a plus)
- High judgment, calm under ambiguity
- Comfortable saying “we should not send this yet”
Bonus Points
- Experience in B2B
- Background in strategy, operations, or partnerships
- Experience working directly with founders or C-level
What This Role Is NOT
- Not copywriting or content marketing
- Not administrative assistant work
Success Looks Like
- CEO rarely needs to rewrite messages
- Messages feel natural, respectful, and well-timed
- No reputational or relationship mistakes
- Stakeholders respond positively and consistently
