Job Description
- Support Management and operations staff for internal/external regulatory compliance including emergency preparedness and responses including COVID-19
- Stay abreast with EHS regulations and actively applies knowledge to projects and daily tasks with authorities related to Environment, Health and Safety; reporting to EHS Manager any clue of authority concerns
- Lead incident, injury and complaint investigations and propose corrective actions to be implemented
- Evaluate regulatory permitting requirements and submit permit applications to applicable agencies
- Develop compliance training and documentation and conduct EHS trainings when required, including the EHS Orientation training to new employees and/or contractors.
- Participate on the development of EHS procedures/Policies, recommend changes when appropriate and tracking their implementation
- Organize and participate in regular site safety inspection with department/area owners; report findings and follow up their correction & prevention
- Follow up all audits findings; and evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of their corrective & preventive actions
- Help on organizing site EHS committee meetings and following up all actions agreed in the committee meeting
- Coordinate establishment of EHS risk assessment e.g. PRA, WPA and other relevant EHS assessment with Area Owners and providing tangible solutions to minimize risks

- University degree in chemistry, Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Process Safety or other related field
- At least 2 years of working experience in chemical/manufacturing industry
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the EHS specialisation
- Fluent English, local Language essential
- Process Safety and Chemical Safety relevant skills will be preferred
- Computer literacy (MS Office: Excel, Word, Power Point), SAP, Google apps
