Job Description
- Manage Amazon Web Services and other cloud services for internal and clients.
- Setup and maintain all internal and client servers.
- Building and maintaining automated pipelines for seamless code integration, testing, and deployment.
- Using IaC tools to provision, configure, and manage infrastructure resources in the cloud or on-premises.
- Setting up monitoring and logging systems to proactively identify issues and ensure optimal system performance.
- Implementing security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps) and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Working closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline processes and foster a collaborative culture.
- Quickly identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and ensure service reliability.
- Setup a monitoring and alert system.
- Provide support during on and off hours according to SLA.
- Support the internal network and maintenance.
- Sharing knowledge and expertise with other team members.
- Exploring new technologies and tools to enhance the DevOps toolchain and processes.
- Identifying and implementing strategies to reduce infrastructure and operational costs.
Requirements
- Have at least 2-3 years of relevant DevOps experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python or Go) and scripting (Bash).
- Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and understanding of cloud-native architectures.
- Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CI/CD Services (build, pipeline, etc.).
- Understanding of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and their orchestration for scalable application deployment.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc) and ability to set up logging and alerting systems.
- A proactive and self-motivated work ethic to ensure the highest levels of security and uptime possible.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Able to communicate in English.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Capacity to understand complex IT environments and devise holistic solutions.
- Efficiently managing multiple tasks and projects.
