Job Description
- Lead end-to-end development of predictive models for pricing and demand forecasting.
- Design and optimize reporting and recommendation engines for trading on eCommerce platforms.
- Collaborate with software engineers to deploy models into production environments.
- Conduct A/B testing and experiment design to validate model performance.
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists on best practices and technical skills.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
- Experience: 3-4 years of experience
- Programming: Expert in Python; proficiency in SQL.
- Machine Learning: Strong experience with supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning.
- Data Engineering: Familiarity with big data tools and cloud platforms (Flexibility to switch to different infrastructures as required).
- Statistics: Advanced knowledge of statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, presentation, leadership, and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
