Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain forecasting models to support both short-term and long-term demand planning across multiple product categories.
- Enable granular forecasting capabilities by incorporating product segmentation, packaging types, and supply constraints into models.
- Design and implement forecast accuracy tracking, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement based on model performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate commercial inputs and market signals into operational forecasts.
- Build automated pipelines to reduce manual work and improve forecast responsiveness to campaigns, seasonality, and pricing changes.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in forecasting, demand planning, or supply chain analytics, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or FMCG sectors.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
- Strong understanding of time series models and machine learning techniques relevant to forecasting.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Google BigQuery, Snowflake, AWS) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to partner across functions and present findings to non-technical audiences.
