Job Description
- Lead and grow a multidisciplinary data team (engineers, analysts, scientists).
- Supporting and hands-on building dashboards, machine learning models, and experiments.
- Oversee data infrastructure, including cloud data platforms, data lakes, and data warehouses.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Mentor and guide a cross-functional team of data professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation.
- Bring strategic thinking to how data supports growth, efficiency, and innovation.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for data platform performance, team output, and business impact from data initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data-related roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Strong technical foundation in:
- Data Engineering: ETL processes, data modeling, cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, Fabric), SQL, Python
- Data Science: Machine learning, AI, Python
- Data Analytics: Dashboarding (e.g., Power BI, Looker), business metrics
- Experience managing data infrastructure and warehouse solutions.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Proven ability to align data initiatives with business strategy.
