Job Description
Data engineers are mainly tasked with transforming data into a format that can be easily analyzed. They do this by developing, maintaining, and testing infrastructures for data generation. Data engineers work closely with data scientists and are largely in charge of architecting solutions for data scientists that enable them to do their job.
Your responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable streaming data infrastructure (e.g., Kafka, Flink) while continuously evaluating new technologies.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines within cross-functional teams, ensuring accuracy, monitoring, and strong instrumentation.
- Support and enhance cloud-based data warehousing for both batch and streaming use cases, enabling seamless analytical queries.
- Build automation and internal tools, including workflow automation using platforms like n8n to improve productivity and enhance system reliability.
- Work with large-scale datasets to deliver high-quality, timely data solutions for internal users.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Technologies, Engineering, or related field
- 2-3 years of relevant experience working Data Warehouse using cloud infrastructure (preferably using Google Cloud Platform)
- Extensive knowledge of programming languages such as Python and Java.
- Excellent familiarity with frameworks like Spark, Scala, and dbt.
- Good understanding of public cloud infrastructures like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
