Job Description
About the Role:
As a Data Analyst Intern, you will work closely with our data analysts, business teams, and data engineers to create impactful dashboards and automate reporting processes. Your primary focus will be on building intuitive, user-friendly dashboards using tools like Looker Data Studio or Metabase, and automating the delivery of key metrics to stakeholders across the organization.
This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about turning data into actionable insights and wants to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dashboard Development:
- Design and build customized dashboards for business teams using Looker Data Studio or Metabase.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into effective visualizations.
- Ensure dashboards are intuitive, accurate, and meet business requirements.
- Reporting Automation:
- Automate the generation and delivery of key metrics and reports for diverse business functions (e.g., marketing, operations, finance).
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and scripts to support automated reporting.
- Monitor and troubleshoot reporting pipelines to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Data Analysis and Insights:
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
- Support ad-hoc data requests from business teams.
- Communicate findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Looker Data Studio, Metabase, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong statistical skills
- Familiarity with Python and data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, Matplotlib, Sklearn).
- Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake).
