• Research threats posed on systems, technologies, operations, or missions.
• Analyse threats and contribute to profiling behaviour, intent, and capabilities.
• Identify, track, and investigate high priority threat campaigns, malicious actors with the interest, capability and TTPs (Techniques, Tactics and Procedures).
• Bring a comprehensive understanding, analysing and tracking the Cyber Threat landscape, including identifying and analysing cyber threats actors, APT TTPs and/or activities to enhance cybersecurity posture of the organization’s IT operating environment.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree in IT related field or higher and 4-8 years’ experience in an information technology field
• Two years of recent experience with host-based and network-based security monitoring solutions and to include security content recommendation or development (host based and network signatures).
• Experience with augmented identification and tracking of incidents
• Experience with assessing and validating predictive models provided by other services to locate potential adversary intrusions and unauthorized activity
• Ability to search and identify indicators of compromise and anomalous behaviour that has not met the event or incident threshold, or has not been detected by automated security tools
• Ability to assess data from multiple sources and navigate the cyber terrain to identify suspicious behaviour
