Job Description

The Jakarta Post is one of Indonesia’s most influential newspapers that provides content and services in line with its role as leading media in the country and Southeast Asia (SEA) region. The Jakarta Post is currently looking for a Creative Writer Intern for a minimum of 3 months work-from-office internship (Monday-Friday).

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Write advertorial articles in collaboration with Creative Desk Editor.
  2. Support the Creative Team in managing the execution of live or other types of campaign production.
  3. Join the field reporting for writing materials needs in collaboration with the team.

Requirements

  1. Students from any major are welcome to apply. Preferably in the last semester of study with no active classes; or students working on ongoing thesis work. Candidates majoring in journalism and/or English literature will be prioritized.
  2. Has a good English writing skills with a proven portfolio.
  3. Candidates able to do field reporting and work from the office during the internship period.
