Job Description
- Edit short-form video content (15–90 seconds) for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts using footage from internal creators or campaigns.
- Collaborate with content, marketing, and creative teams to shape raw material into on-brand, globally engaging videos with strong hooks, subtitles, motion graphics, and sound design.
- Apply platform-specific best practices, global pacing trends, and cross-cultural visual storytelling techniques to maximize reach and engagement.
- Optimize videos for clarity and accessibility to international audiences (e.g., subtitles, localization-friendly formats).
- Contribute to the ideation and refinement of content strategy by analyzing audience engagement metrics and iterating accordingly.
- Maintain consistency in tone, branding, and format while pushing creative boundaries to stand out in a competitive global content space.
- Stay up-to-date with evolving video trends, AI product developments, and audience preferences in various global markets.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience editing short-form video content for social media, preferably for an international or multi-regional audience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative and engaging short-form edits for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut Desktop, or similar.
- Deep understanding of visual storytelling, audience retention hooks, and social media pacing tailored to a global, digital-first audience.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines, while taking feedback constructively and iterating rapidly.
- Detail-oriented with a keen sense of design, motion, and rhythm, especially suited for a fast-evolving digital landscape.
- Interest in or familiarity with AI and tech-related topics (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, generative tools, etc.) is a strong plus.
- Comfortable working in a remote, international team environment with collaborators across multiple time zones.
