Job Description
1. Research and Trend Analysis:
- Continuously research and analyze emerging content trends, offering valuable insights to the team for strategic content planning.
- Stay updated on contemporary cultural trends to produce content that resonates with the target audience and aligns with marketing objectives.
2. Content Production & Writing:
- Lead the creation of high-quality content, including social media posts, articles, video scripts, and marketing materials, with expertise in ideation, writing, shooting, and proficient editing.
3. Social Media Expertise
- Leverage platform-specific knowledge to produce optimized content for social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Whatsapp Business, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Stay updated on social media best practices, algorithms, and trends to maximize engagement and reach.
4. E-Commerce Expertise
- Develop content that enhances product listings, descriptions, and promotional campaigns across eCommerce platforms (Shopee, Tokopedia, etc)
- Collaborate with the eCommerce team to ensure the content supports sales initiatives, product launches, and promotional events.
5. Leadership and Oversight:
- Provide mentorship to junior content creators and writers, overseeing the quality of their work and guiding them to meet project goals.
6. Collaborative Communication:
- Collaborate with the Creative Director, Motion Graphics Team, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and aligned content development, incorporating feedback and revising content as needed.
7. Content Consistency and Strategy
- Work closely with the Creative Officer to define tone of voice, pillars, and content guidelines, and recommend new topics to address gaps in the content strategy.
8. Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Proactively contribute to team efforts in devising and executing editorial plans, aligning content strategies with overarching objectives.
9. Proofreading and Quality Assurance
- Thoroughly proofread and edit content to meet company standards for accuracy, grammar, tone, and overall quality across all platforms
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Content Creator and/or Content Writer, with proven ability to produce high-quality content for social media, eCommerce, and marketing platforms.
- Strong proficiency in content ideation, writing, video production, photography, and editing.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and their best practices (Instagram, TikTok, Whatsapp Business, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Experience creating content for eCommerce platforms (Shopee, Tokopedia, etc), including product descriptions, promotional materials, and campaign assets.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including design, marketing, and production.
- Strong proofreading and editing skills to ensure content meets quality standards.
- Capacity to stay updated on cultural trends, social media, and content strategies.
