Job Description
- Provide subject matter expertise for the Google Workspace solution and leading all technical aspects of post-sales activities for transitioning from legacy messaging and collaboration solutions to Google
- Perform hands-on design, configuration, and troubleshooting of G Suite deployments including successfully migrating data to Google, integrating customer Active Directory environments with Google and educating customer technical resources
- Interact with customer technical and project resources in face-to-face and remote interactions
- Lead technical workstreams of deployment planning workshops at customer locations and assisting with accurately scoping Google deployment projects
- Utilize 3rd party utilities to leverage Google APIs to script bulk changes of G Suite settings
- Stay current on Google deployment best practices and enhance these processes
- Act as an escalation point for technical support resources for advanced G Suite issues
- Adapt existing customer messaging and collaboration workflow/processes to the appropriate Google solution
Requirements
- Over 3 years of professional experience as Solution Engineer/ Technical Consultant/ Pre-Sales Consultant
- Experience with Google Workspace product is a point plus
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS etc
- Experience with Google G Suite in a technical capacity working with Google or a Google Cloud partner firm (e.g. customer engineer, deployment engineer)
- Strong working knowledge of networking concepts (e.g. IP, firewalls, proxy, VLANs, VPN)
- Experience managing or administering Microsoft Exchange or Microsoft 365 or equivalent experience migrating enterprises from these legacy environments to G Suite
- Experience configuring and administering Windows servers and services such as DNS, DHCP, IIS, and Group Policies and advanced understanding of Microsoft Active Directory
- Able to quickly adapt to technology and process changes while effectively managing concurrent projects and tasks with minimal oversight
- Ability to convey complex technical concepts and requirements in a concise and easy-to-understand manner
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated individual who is confident, thorough, and committed
- Ability to build trust and rapport with customers and project stakeholders through clear and concise communications, transparency, and accountability
- Embraces a positive and creative approach to problem-solving
