Role Overview:
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will oversee the organization’s overall technological development and strategy. As the primary technology leader, the CTO will drive innovation, optimize the use of technology, and play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s strategic direction and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Alignment: Define and develop the technical vision to align with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Innovation & Implementation: Identify and integrate cutting-edge technologies to establish a competitive edge.
- Technology Enablement: Support teams across departments in leveraging technology to drive profitability and efficiency.
- Performance Monitoring: Evaluate technology performance by tracking and analyzing relevant metrics.
- Quality & Security: Establish and maintain robust quality assurance and data protection standards.
- Budget Oversight: Monitor IT budgets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure technological performance aligns with financial goals.
- Feedback-Driven Improvements: Leverage input from stakeholders to refine and improve technology solutions and strategies.
- Communication: Clearly articulate the technology roadmap to investors, partners, and other key stakeholders.
- Leadership & Innovation: Champion innovation and creativity while leading efforts in thought leadership within the industry.
- Collaboration & Partnerships: Strategize and manage technology platforms, external partnerships, and vendor relationships to drive growth and efficiency.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Experience:
- 10+ years in IT, software development, or engineering roles.
- Able & still hands on the code
- Proven leadership experience managing technology teams and delivering large-scale projects.
- Expertise in scaling technology infrastructure and managing complex systems.
- Hands-on experience with modern architectures and cloud technologies.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Effective in vendor negotiations and relationship management.
- Deep understanding of aligning technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation.
- Exceptional communication skills for conveying technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaboration:
- Ability to work closely with the executive team, investors, and board members.
- Proven track record in negotiating and collaborating with external vendors and partners.
