Job Description

  • Develop and implement category strategies, including assortment strategy, pricing and promotion strategy
  • Understanding and co-creating the strategy to recruit and retain high-value consumers to the respective category, as well as improving category penetration.
  • Execute, monitor, and improve the day-to-day performance of category assortment, pricing, and promotional plans.
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors, negotiating price, terms and conditions to ensure competitive advantage and optimal product availability.
  • Analyze and monitor sales data, market trends and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Work closely with the demand forecasting to ensure accurate inventory planning and product availability
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to understand the market landscape, identify emerging trends and capitalize on competitive opportunities
  • Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns, promotions and operational plans that drive category performance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in category management, buyer, merchandising, or related field, preferably in eCommerce retail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and demand forecasting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for retail and eCommerce.
