Job Description
- Conduct sourcing and negotiations with suppliers regarding purchase prices and promotional support
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers
- Develop the right assortment to meet market needs
- Collaborate with the marketing and promotions team for brand campaigns
- Perform analysis and evaluation of the handled category or suppliers in terms of sales, margin, inventory, and fulfillment
- Collaborate with the purchasing and demand planning teams for the procurement process
Requirements
- Min. 2 years experience as Retail Buyer (in the same category) or relevant role
- Familiarity with sourcing strategies, vendor negotiation, and purchase order processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Having an understanding of price trends, stock levels, and supplier performance
- Good interpersonal and communication skills for managing supplier relationships
- Understanding of the category/industry market trends and product specifications
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
