Job Description
Contribute to financial performance and budget control by:
- Assisting with monthly, quarterly and annual financial plan development.
- Helping to set and monitor financial controls.
- Supporting the preparation of monthly performance reports, comparing actuals with planned figures.
- Aiding in the creation of accurate financial projections to assist business planning.
Collaborate with business units as a financial partner by:
- Providing support in making recommendations to enhance financial performance.
- Assisting in analyzing financial flows and operational processes.
- Conducting regular analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Supporting meetings with key stakeholders, including category managers, operations, finance, and campaign and marketing teams, to ensure aligned strategies.
- Support the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Monitor and track business plan execution, ensuring that initiatives are on track and within budget.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and support special projects as needed to meet the changing needs of the business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 0-2 years of experience in business or financial analysis, ideally within retail or e-commerce.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, data manipulation) and familiarity with data tools.
- Basic understanding of financial and operational metrics, with an interest in cost analysis and business performance.
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to data accuracy.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
- A proactive, results-driven approach with a desire to learn and embrace new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
