Founded in 2020, Durianpay is a next-generation B2B payments software enabling seamless transactions across Indonesia. With a mission to modernize and democratize payments for businesses, we focus on making transactions cheaper, faster, and more efficient. With over 25 million transactions processed monthly, we serve clients across diverse industries, including consumer goods, retail, automotive, and financial services.
From 2022 to 2023, we tripled our revenue, and between January and August 2024, we achieved the same growth again. Our relentless focus on product-market fit and profitability has been central to our success. We prioritize rapid experimentation, embrace mistakes as learning opportunities, and quickly adapt, ensuring we consistently evolve and meet the needs of our clients.
As our company scales, we're looking for a Business Intelligence Intern to help transform data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. You’ll work closely with the team to maintain dashboards, conduct analyses, and uncover trends that fuel Durianpay’s growth.
Job description and key responsibilities:
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and organize data from internal systems, databases, and third-party tools to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Analysis & Reporting: Analyze product, transaction, and business performance metrics to provide meaningful insights that support decision-making.
- Tracking & Monitoring : Maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Metabase) to track business trends.
- Market & Competitor Research: Conduct market intelligence research to support strategic initiatives and identify growth opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Operations, Finance and Business Development teams to maintain non-transactional revenue generations initiatives.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with basic SQL
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Metabase, Power BI, or Looker) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present findings clearly and effectively.
- Passionate about technology, fintech, and data-driven decision-making.
