Job Description
- As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and managing data solutions utilizing AWS Glue, Redshift, and Tableau. This role involves processing large-scale data, building ETL pipelines, and creating interactive visualizations to deliver actionable insights for business decision-making. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data and analytics needs are met effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Data Analytics are a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, Redshift, and Tableau.
- AWS Glue: Expertise in building and optimizing ETL pipelines and managing the Glue Data Catalog.
- AWS Redshift: Ability to design and optimize data warehouses and improve query performance.
- Tableau: Proficiency in creating interactive dashboards and integrating Tableau with Redshift.
- SQL and Python: Advanced SQL skills and Python programming experience to support ETL processes.
- Cloud Ecosystem: Strong understanding of AWS services like S3, IAM, Athena, and CloudWatch.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage large-scale data projects.
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Experience with AWS-based data lake tools like Lake Formation.
- Knowledge of machine learning for predictive analytics.
