Job Description
About the role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Intelligence / Data Analyst to drive data-driven decision-making across our organization. This role involves analyzing complex data sets, creating insightful reports, and developing data models to support business strategies.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Extract, clean, and analyze data from various sources.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track business performance.
- Provide actionable insights through detailed reports and presentations.
Business Intelligence Development:
- Design and implement business intelligence solutions using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key metrics and reporting needs.
Data Management:
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data models, processes, and reports.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with business leaders to understand challenges and provide data-backed recommendations.
- Support leadership with forecasts, trend analysis, and performance insights.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to optimize data processes and reporting efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging BI technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven 3-6 years of experience in data engineering roles, with a focus on Python and GCP.
- Strong experience is working with BI tools like PowerBI, Looker Studio and such.
- expertise in designing and implementing ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Proficiency with GCP services like, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
- Has worked with Python, along with experience in scripting and automation.
- Familiarity with data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing concepts.
