Business Development (Retail)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Development, with a strong focus on retail and import operations from China.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken), essential for communication with Chinese suppliers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Proven experience in managing import processes and building relationships with suppliers in the retail industry.
• Strong understanding of global trade practices, especially importing goods from China.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management, import/export procedures, and customs regulations.
• In-depth knowledge of the retail market and consumer behavior, particularly regarding imported products.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers in China and local business partners.
• Proficiency in using business tools such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Suites.

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to travel for supplier visits and business development activities.
• Strong attention to detail.
