Job Description

  1. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential customers, competitors, and market trends. Analyze data and provide insights to support business development strategies.
  2. Lead Generation: Identify and qualify leads for potential business opportunities, such as new partnerships, collaborations, and licensing agreements.
  3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients, including pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders in the industry.
  4. Proposal Development: Assist in the preparation and submission of proposals for new business ventures, including product licensing, distribution agreements, and strategic partnerships.
  5. Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide them with the necessary information and resources to pursue new business opportunities effectively.
  6. Contract Negotiation: Support the senior business development team in negotiating terms and conditions of contracts with clients and partners.
  7. Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of business development strategies and plans to expand the company's market share and achieve growth objectives.
  8. Pipeline Management: Help in managing the business development pipeline, tracking progress, and updating relevant stakeholders on the status of ongoing and potential projects.
  9. Industry Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive developments that may impact the company's business strategy.
  10. Collaborative Projects: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, regulatory affairs, and research and development, to ensure alignment and successful execution of business development initiatives.
  11. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports and presentations to share progress, achievements, and challenges with the senior management team.
  12. Professional Development: Continuously improve knowledge and skills related to pharmaceutical products, business development strategies, and industry practices

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or Sciences, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) may be preferred.
  • Must have minimum 10 years experience in Business Development & Marketing in Pharmaceutical Industries
  • Having exposure experience in Marketing, Sales, and developing new product development (commercial)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
  • Analytical mindset to gather and interpret data, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including key players, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and self-motivated approach to tasks.
