Job Description

Market & Product Analysis: Analyze OTC pharmaceutical market demand and product variety to identify growth opportunities and inform portfolio decisions.
Principal Engagement: Leverage an existing database of principal contacts to explore new product sourcing, partnerships, and business collaborations that expand our OTC offerings.
Merchandising & Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies and pursue new business opportunities within the OTC channel to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both principals and retail partners within the OTC landscape.
Reporting & Collaboration: Provide regular reports on market trends and business development activities, collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful product strategies.
Regulatory Awareness: Ensure all business development activities comply with relevant pharmaceutical regulations and ethical standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Pharmacy, Business, Marketing) with min. 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical OTC business development or sales.
Experience in developing and implementing successful OTC product merchandising initiatives.
Existing network of contacts/database with principals and a strong understanding of the OTC pharmaceutical market.
Strong analytical abilities to interpret market data and develop effective business development and merchandising strategies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with relevant pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines.
