Job Description
- Manage live broadcast operations for esports events, including pre-production, live streaming, and post-production.
- Set up, test, and operate broadcast equipment, including cameras, audio mixers, graphics overlays, and streaming software.
- Ensure video and audio quality meet broadcast standards, troubleshooting technical issues in real-time as needed.
- Work closely with the Creative Director and Project Manager to ensure broadcasts align with brand vision and client objectives.
- Coordinate with broadcast teams, casters, and other event staff to deliver smooth, professional broadcasts.
- Produce engaging content by adding live graphics, instant replays, and other broadcast features.
Requirements
- Proven experience (2+ years) in broadcast production, especially for gaming/esports events.
- Proficiency with streaming software (e.g., OBS, vMix, XSplit) and video equipment.
- Proficiency with live production hardware (e.g., Blackmagic, Ross, Newtek).
- Knowledge of live audio/video production, including switching, lighting, and sound design.
- Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments and adapt quickly to changes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Passion for gaming and esports; knowledge of popular games and the gaming community is a plus.
