Job Description
For ongoing and future international and national projects, PT. Darena and GITEC-IGIP GmbH are looking for Biomedical Engineers or biomedical equipment Experts with proven experience in establishing tender documents for medical equipment and supervising the inspection and installation of all related equipment within national and international development projects.
- In cooperation with health sector clients conduct needs assessments for health care facilities, including establishing and reviewing medical equipment lists, and preparing technical tender documents and preliminary cost estimates against architectural designs and installation requirements
- Assistance in international and national tender procedures for the procurement of medical equipment including strict adherence to quality and safety standards and ensuring that tender requirements include preventive and corrective maintenance services
- Supervision during inspection, installation, commissioning and acceptance of
- Verification of handbooks and user manuals provided by medical equipment providers for medical staff in health care facilities and supervision of user training, delivered by suppliers
- Development of equipment maintenance concepts (inspections, servicing, calibration, and repair)
- Inspection and quality assurance of the procured equipment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent academic degree (Health Care Management, Medical Doctor, Public Health Specialist, Medical Engineering, Bioengineering, Health Informatics Specialist).
- Fluent in English
General professional experience:
- Ideally at least 5 - 10 years of experience in health equipment planning, procurement, developing of maintenance concepts & training of Egnineers and En d Users
Specific professional experience:
- Experience working in international projects funded by International Funding Institutions such as KfW, GIZ, EIB, World Bank, ADB, IsDB, etc.
- Experience working under MoECRT or MoH projects.
- Proven experience establishing and/or reviewing tender documents, equipment specifications as well as medical equipment lists against architectural designs and installation requirements of the health facilities
Duration of Assignment
We are looking for experts for various upcoming projects with differing assignment durations (short-term, intermittent) fir various project locations within Indonesia.
Suitable Expert can also become a permanent Employee.
