Job Description
Key responsibilities
- Perform charge/discharge cycling, capacity, internal resistance (IR), and open-circuit voltage (OCV) tests on cells, modules, and packs
- Conduct performance and safety testing (cycle life, thermal, environmental, and abuse tests) per established procedures
- Operate and monitor battery test equipment (e.g., battery cyclers, hipot testers, multimeters, environmental chambers)
- Record, organize, and report test data accurately; escalate out-of-spec results and anomalies
- Support root-cause investigations on failed or defective units alongside engineering
- Carry out routine calibration, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of test equipment
- Follow all safety protocols for handling lithium-ion batteries, including correct PPE and ESD precautions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant test area in line with [5S/ISO/IATF] standards
Requirements
What we're looking for
- Diploma / Associate degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Chemistry, or a related technical field
- 2–5 years' testing experience, preferably in battery, electronics, or precision manufacturing
- Familiarity with battery test equipment (e.g., Arbin, Neware, Maccor) and measurement instruments
- Ability to read test procedures, schematics, and work instructions
